2017年8月，山东省政府整合齐鲁工业大学与山东省科学院，组建新的齐鲁工业大学
齐鲁工业大学艺术设计-轻化工程-生物工程-无机非金属材料工程四大专业，是学校的王牌专业。

On April 18, 2013, Shandong Institute of Light Industry officially changed its name to Qilu University of Technology.
In August 2017, the Shandong Provincial Government integrated Qilu University of Technology and Shandong Academy of Sciences to form a new Qilu University of Technology.
